Car description

This car is in good condition and has had a lot of major work done, including a $5,000. complete engine rebuild with less than 500 miles on it. It's a very nice car, with so much that's new. I just never use it. I take it out about 2-3 times a year just to the store, etc... just to keep it running. It has been in my garage the entire time that I have owned it, but honestly, it's in the way and I am running out of storage space and I need to sell it to make room. It's has a few knicks from me trying to work around it all the time in the garage, etc...The entire engine has been rebuilt by a reputable British car shop. It has a brand new authentic Weber carb that was just installed last month. New Clutch, rebuilt radiator, new alternator, new distributor, new clutch slave, roll bar, has nice TR6 leather seats, wood dash was recently refinished, tires are in good shape, brakes are good. It's a very nice Spitfire, and it is is in good running condition with no major issues, although it may need a battery soon. It is not a show car by any means but could be, it does need a few very minor things, maybe some minor cosmetics, etc..There is always going to be something to tinker on with a Spitfire, but that's part of owning one! The interior is in pretty nice shape. The body is a 1979. The motor is a 1971 FK series 1300cc with a 4 speed transmission. I have tons of extra parts that I bought, including a factory steel hard top that needs to be redone. I have the convertible top and frame in storage, I never used them since it was always garaged. I have had it for several years and put over 10k into but I just do not use it anymore and it's time to sell it. If I had unlimited space, I would certainly keep it. It's fun to drive!
