1973 TRIUMPH TR6 Offered for restoration project.
Great compressions approx 175psi all.Good oil pressure. Starts and runs, no smoke.Great solid chassis, no welding needed on this car.Brakes untested, as with the rest of the running gear.Only rusty panel seems to be the one rear fender but these are bolt on type. The floor has some surface rust on the driver's side but is solid with no weakness or penetration, this will have been where the soft top has leaked over the years.Bodywork rough, has been resprayed several times, originally white.I would recommend mobile media blasting. I had a local estimate of $600 to be done at my house, and they clean up.Good Ansa exhaust and many new spares, new clutch, brake cylinders etc..in boxes.I have the seats and soft top but I would fit new vinyl and use the frames. The keys were lost prior to me getting it, but these are relatively inexpensive to match or re-barrel. The ignition switch unit still works without the barrel.Everything is available for these cars which makes them very easy to restore. Check out Moss motors catalog.I bought this for restoration but have too many projects, it sat in a garage for 10 years before I got it. Was always a dry state car, CO, AZ.Will sell abroad but buyer does all arrangements.I've added some extra pics of the spare cylinders, brake parts and clutch, also the condition of the chassis, the repaired front fender (was damaged in storage, insurance covered and new windscreen fitted).I have made videos to give you an excellent idea of what you are looking at, please watch below:
