Great restoration project! Illness forces sale. Restoration experts say "good bones" for restoration. Runs, but needs battery and other mechanics to be roadworthy. 1957 TR 3 titled as a 1958, last registration on the road was 1983. Illinois clear and clean title. vin# TS211522, This car was originally either Beach White or Pearl White, with a black interior. Solid floor other than front drivers side and passenger sidethat has been repaired. Perfect trunk area. Drivers side fender is damaged, but I have a replacement (see below). This car is a really good car that needs to be restored. No ignition key, door or trunk key.
The Triumph Motor Company launched the TR3 in October of 1955 as a successor to the TR2, and the new model was powered by the same 1991 cc, straight-4, overhead valve engine as its predecessor. The powerplant had larger carburetion, however, that pushed power to 95 hp, and the engine was mated to a four-speed transmission. New cylinder heads were fitted to the engine during the first 12 months of production, which translated to 5 more hp, and top speeds for the TR3 approached 110 mph. SEE photos, the drivers side front fender needs to be replaced. I have a REPLACEMENT FENDER THAT WILL BE SHIPPED SEPARATE TO YOU. (if auction closes to buyer within the lower 48 States)
I will assist in shipping car anywhere. I expect a 250.00 non-refundable Pay Pal deposit, balanced to be paid in U.S dollars cash only at time of tending clear Illinois title, to transport company or successful bidder. No bit-coin, no cashiers checks, money orders. Cash only. Buy it now priced requires immediate Paypal deposit with balance at time of pick-up cash only.
