This is a pretty solid old British classic! From what I can tell, it had not been registered since the late 1980's.It has been a project that has been passed around for a long time, and is now a running, driving car again!A lot of work has been put intothis classic. All soft brake lines, rear wheel and master cylinders, clutch master and slave cylinders have been replaced. Some of the hard lines have also been replaced.New tires were just installed, still had the redlines on it when Iacquired it. New upper wishbone bushings were also installed.New windshield, newseal, and frame to cowl gaske, new dash crash pad, New carpet set, seats, and top.Engine was pulled, cleaned, repainted, rear main seal was replaced, new fuel pump, new radiator hoses, new starter, plugs, wires, distributor cap/rotor. About half of the exhaust pipes were replaced.Rubber fuel lines were replaced.Flywheel ring gear has been tack welded to the flywheel tokeep it from slipping ( the reason the car was parked in the 1980's) Rear differential support has been reinforced with plate steel, I was told this was a weak point on these cars.Full floor pans and outer rockers have been replaced. Thecar has been repainted a brighter red than its original color. This is a 40+ year oldBritish car, meaning it is not perfect! It is NOT a show car! Some of the gauges do not work, Heater and chokesare not hooked up. The car starts easily, has good oil pressure and seems pretty peppy!Transmission shifts in all gears, but is bulky compared tomy Porsche,It is not built with as much precision as a Porsche of the same era is. There are scratches/imperfections in the paint.I have only driven it around the block, it turns out that I am tootall for the car,and my size 16 feet can't fit on the pedals while wearing my shoes, my legs are difficult to fit under the steering wheel,so unfortunately, the car has to go!Expect that there will be some work/ adjusting/ tinkeringleft before driving long distances, the carbs could be adjusted/tuned, there is plain water in the cooling system just in case there were leaks. ( there weren't. ) Oilshould be changed,( currently not even leaking oil!) There are a few extra parts in the trunk, and the original seats, if you want them, Mileage is approximately what is on the odometer, can not verify if original or not. I have a Texas title in my name in hand.
