Presented here is a 1968 Triumph GT6, a fastback sports coupe in british racing green with a center white stripe and black interior. Engine is a straight-six connected to a manual transmission with overdrive sending power to the rear wheels. For the last 10 years it has been owned and maintained by a retired former mechanic for the Denver RTD public-busing system. He owned multiple Triumphs and was a member of the Rocky Mountain Triumph Club (note the sticker for the club on the windshield) and as you can see he took fantastic care of this car! No restoration needed! It starts, runs and drives without any issues, and everything on the car works. Moreover, the body, paint and mechanicals are all in great condition - especially considering the car is nearly 50 years old!
I bought this car for myself in April, but then the seller of the 1942 Cadillac in the background came back and accepted my original offer. After some debate, I've decided I don't really have the ability to keep and care for two classic cars at this time.
Please note that while the paint is NOT cracked, peeling, or bubbling anywhere, it does have minor blemishes which you can see in the pictures. Also please note that this is a nearly 50 year old car sports car -itdoesn't have any modern power options, and being carbureted itcan be a bit cold-blooded in the morning.
This 1968 Triumph GT6 is sold with a clear title. I am located in Englewood, Colorado. If you win this auction you must contact me within 48 hours to arrange for payment and pickup. Vehicle is sold As-Is. Please contact me with any questions.
