Acquired this car in 1978 from a salvage yard. The front suspension was failing. The upper A-frame had ripped. (Common in early models. Triumph corrected on later TR6 models) the differential mount had also failed. The fix I used was to replace the frame with a 1973 TR6 frame. (The frames are almost identical except for strengthening the point where the upper A-frames attach). The engine and transmission came from the TR6. (Better intake and dual exhaust). This old gal has been under shed since1998. It sits a lot, so is in need of some minor carburetor work. It will start, run and drive. I have reached an age that I no longer have time or the inclination to work on it. She needs a new home willing to give her the time and attention she deserves. Time will only see the value of this car go up. I can possibly deliver anywhere in the SE US for a fee of course. Am willing to work with he buyer on that. I do not have a reserv, so happy bidding. I won't be bidding to raise the bid.I
