In early 1963, Standard-Triumph commissioned Giovanni Michelotti (notable for designing many models including several for Ferrari & Maserati) to design a GT version of the new Spitfire line. The performance of this GT-6 is amazing. With a little choke and the turn of the key, the car springs to life with a healthy exhaust note and excellent throttle response. Once to temperature, the car absolutely sings through the RPMs with precise shifting through the gears. The GT6 comes with a roll bar and the only item I can see that is an issue are the seats. The carpet is less desirable as well. The vent controls were disconnected in preparation of installing the AC system. The complete Air Conditioning system comes with the GT and is seen in the separate pictures. At some point I believe the car has been painted.Overall the GT6 is unmolested and has been maintained, no major modifications nor alterations of the existing structure. The last picture is actually the inside of the door bottom, taken inside after removing the door card.Great little GT6.The mileage is exempt. Thanks for viewing the Triumph.
