Car description

"Diamond in the Rough" 1973 TR-6
Hello! If you have been waiting to find a nice TR-6 project, than you may want to check out this super nice, super dry, ZERO accident Arizona TR-6. I found this low mile Triumph in Phoenix several years ago and actually test drove it around the block prior to my purchase. When I found the car buried in a patio it was 100% intact and 100% complete. It was also still wearing the old school Michelin Redlines!! I just oiled the cylinders and the engine fired right up.
The car is still complete less the windshield (which was cracked) and the carpet and upholstery which was also destroyed by the Az sun. Please note- You may noticed, some of the panels do not line up perfectly. I had disassembled the car to begin restoration... and just rapidly re-hung the doors, hood, and deck lid to take these photos.
This TR-6 has 101,655 "box A" original miles. Title matches Speedo.
I have purchased many, many, classic cars and trucks and can tell you with confidence that this TR6 has an amazing body. As you can see in the photos, there is minimal body damage. The under carrige is not more than dusty! The inner front apron, rear valance, trunk, and rockers are original, solid and dry. I scrapped the floors hard and found them to be super solid with minimal surface rust. This car is an auto body man's dream!!
I have fired the engine up approx every 4 month to keep the engine lubed. It car always starts right up, does not blow smoke, or have any ill engine sounds. I doubt the brakes work and the tires are shot.
The original color is yellow with one respray, with a brown interior. The car also has a rare factory hardtop, which I LOVE on TR-6's.
As mentioned earlier, all the parts you don't see are accounted for- dash pieces, gauges, vents and hoses, visors, seats and tracks, front spoiler, wipers, convertible top and covers, and all misc. hardware.
If you've been waiting for your "diamond in the rough" TR-6, than bid it to win it.
For now my car interest has changed to vintage 4x4 trucks. I will surely regret this sale if and when I get the "British Bug" again.
The AZ title is free and clear of liens.
Please read my "additional payment instructions" prior to bidding, and PLEASE do not bid unless you intend on buying the car.
