I'm selling my 1974 Triumph TR6 to make room for a new project. This car is in great condition and needs nothing to be a fun driver and car meet-up regular. It has a clean Texas title and full inspection, so it's ready to go anywhere. Everything works, it starts and runs great with a bit of popping on overrun, the transmission and drivetrain are smooth with no slop or grinding, the factory overdrive works perfectly, the steering and suspension are tight, and the brakes are strong and predictable. I don't have many details about the car's history prior to me buying it, but it has has a frame-off restoration sometime in the past judging by the body mount pads and overall cleanliness on the chassis. I changed out the springs and shocks with SPAX adjustable dampers and a comfortable combination of poly and rubber bushings throughout. I've also redone the seats with new foam and vinyl, installed new seatbelts with shoulder belts, installed a high-torque starter, replaced all 4 universal joints in the axles, replaced the diff mounts, and changed all fluids. I also flushed the cooling system and put in all new hoses and clamps. There is a small drop of gear oil from the front of the transmission. This is really a great example of the quintessential British roadster and it's ready to put the wind in your hair! Note that the build date for this car is Sept 2, 1973, so it's a 1973 model but has the overrider USA bumpers. So, it's either an early 74/late 73.
