Triumph Herald sports 1200 for sale. Clear Florida Title in hand!
Original car with 60131 actual miles that has been partially restored with emphasis on the entire chassis. I have spent over $800 in new parts with rimmer brothers in the U.K. for the car, with the focus being on the chassis and engine.
This is a left hand drive USA market car that has a 12 volt system (negative ground electrical system, a generator, and all wheel drum brakes.
The original color scheme remains intact with it being Red exterior (code 32) with Black interior (code 11), and white convertible top. The seats are all original, no problems with them. The door panels seem to be original, and all the trim and logos are intact and included (although not shown). Also not shown are extra parts and all of the bolts, fasteners, clips, etc that are used to put the car together.
Engine turns over and runs good! The car drove good before it was taken apart.
The car has been mostly reassembled but is not able to be driven because it still needs to have the hydraulic system bled (or rebuilt), the stainless steel exhaust pipe system attached, the body sections to be fully aligned, doors aligned, and everything bolted in place.
I have partially restored this car over the past few years and have run out of time to finish it. The car is mostly complete as no parts are missing, but it needs to be reassembled. However, the person who buys this car can decide to do the body work, and insert two new front floorboards. The passenger side rocker panel should probably be replaced as well. Ultimately, it is up to the individual to determine which direction to take the car. A lot of the hardest work is complete, now it just needs the cosmetic areas done, and basic mechanicals.
I have dozens of detailed pictures and the main photo shows the car in its current state; while the others show the progress and work that has been performed over the last few years. I can just about answer any question about the car that you might have and I will more than happy to tell you what it needs to bring it to completion.
Buyer must provide $500 deposit within 48 hrs of the auction's end. Payment must be made within 7 days of the end of auction unless agreed upon in writing that more time is allowed for you to pay.
The car is currently kept in a garage to protect it from the weather.
There is a reserve but it is reasonable.
Buyer must arrange to have the car picked up, and it cannot be driven away, but is easy to push. The car measures approximately 5' x 12' in case you want to bring a trailer.
Thank you taking a look at my auction and I look forward to any inquiries you might have! Thanks!
The car will be listed locally as well so it could sell before the auction ends.
