Here is an absolutely beautiful 1967 Triumph TR4A that is in great condition and is an absolute blast to drive!!! This Triumph was restored by its previous owner to be an excellent driver over the course over the course of several years. This 1967 TR4A is actually quite a rare car as it is equipped with a SOLID REAR AXLE and is very difficult to find in good condition! The TR4A is one of the most desirable and collectible versions of the TR4 as it has many unique/upgraded features over the standard TR4, however many people in the US did not like the IRS that was causing some issues... So much in fact that the US market demanded Triumph to produce the car with a solid rear axle. From my reading, only 25% of TR4As have a solid rear axle. This car does have the desriable factory overdrive unit as well!. The 2.1L 4 cylinder engine has been completely rebuilt, revs quickly and emits a great classic british sports car sound that is unmistakeable. The 4 speed transmission shifts excellent and the overdrive is in great working order . The car has also been treated to leather seats, and a completely refinished dash as well as a new convertible top. The car looks beautiful and is a great find. The car runs and drive absolutely beautifully. It fires right up and the throttle is extremely responsive, the brakes/hydraulics have all been rebuilt have a firm pedal. This car actually pulls very strongly and is quite quick. The cars floors are in beautiful condition and 100% rust free!!! This car has a spectacular look that grabs everyone's attention. These are great cars to go for a quick blast down the road or for a nice scenic drive.

Exterior: This beautiful TR4A looks great finished in its beautiful factory shade of British Racing Green paint. The paint has a very "deep" look and has a great shine. You could take this to a weekend show or use it as a daily driver. The car really has a great look with its beautiful rechromed bumpers, fully polished grill and new wheels and tires. The front window trim and gasket are brand new as is the convertible top This car just has that british sports car look that still grabs everyones attention 50 years later. The exterior of this car is in beautiful shape and can be driven and enjoyed daily or taken to local weekend car shows.

At Close of Auction
