1980 Triumph TR8

1980 Triumph TR8 Convertible: With only 47,730 miles this is arguably the best original example for sale world wide. Vehicle has had a 4 barrel intake installed and will be sold with the original side draft intake manifold. Car has been resprayed in the exact factory original color and decals as well as a high quality, better than original job. No orange peel and shows very well. Front and rear bumpers are in excellent condition, factory original sport wheels are like new with excellent rubber. Dash assembly is free from any cracks ( a common problem with the British Leyland makes) and the interior is in excellent condition with brand new, matching, factory seat covers from Rimmer Bros in England ( One of the last 2 factory sets left in the world!!) Rest of the interior vinyl is in excellent condition with brand new looking carpet. Convertible top is in new like condition with windows still very clear. This TR8 runs and drives excellent.

History. The vehicle's interior was replaced with factory replacements from Rimmer Bros at a cost of $2000. A 4 barrel manifold was installed with a mild street cam and adjustable push rods. We are not sure what the cost of these modifications were, but we are sure they were not cheap. The vehicle has some lifter noise upon start up and gets quieter when warm. We were told this is normal for this engine and probably could be adjusted. We need to move this car out because it is just sitting and we are ready to take a hit to move it on to the next person to appreciate. The car looks awesome!!

Opening starting bid is significantly lower than any other TR8, and even some TR7's, in this type of excellent condition so bid to win and take advantage of getting this clean of an original TR8 at a very affordable price.
