1972 Triumph TR-6I recently purchased this car from the original owner who had the car in dry storage for approximately thirty five years. The paperwork includes the original purchase order and other information from when the original owner purchased the car new in 1972. The Maryland title and release of lien are dated 1977 but are in the original owners name. This car has a surprisingly straight original body. The left rear fender, he outer rockers, he rear quarters (where the fenders meet the body), nd the drivers side front(toe)floor board have typical rust. The frame has typical rust at the rear outriggers. I have not started the car but it does crank and produces 50 lbs of oil pressure while cranking. The car has a manual non overdrive transmission. Desirable wire wheels are in reasonably good shape. The trunk floor and battery box are solid.Listed below are a few things are in notably good condition.SeatsGaugesTop frameDoorsFront fendersHoodTrunk lidIn general this is a very nice start for a quality restoration. The car is mostly complete and original. The car could be cleaned up gone over and driven as is although it would not be very becoming in terms of appearance. Please look at the photos provided and request any additional you many need to determine your own opinion of the cars condition. I am more than happy to answer any questions you may have as promptly as possible. If you prefer to discuss by phone please provide a phone number and a good time to call. Local inspection is welcome and encouraged.Car is being advertised locally therefore i reserve the right to end auction in any time.
