This car is a true "barn find" and has been in a time capsule since the 1960's. This 1962 Triumph Herald has had one owner. Pictures show where car has been sitting since 1965. It has the original miles of just over 24,000 and is untouched. Manual and maintenance records are included along with the original tool set that came with car from manufacturer. Prior to 1965 the following was done:
- At 833 miles the gear box and rear axle fluids were changed
- 11,850 miles new water pump
This is a complete car and convertible top works great. The only thing missing is the driver side brake light chrome piece and one small cap on back passenger tire trim piece. When the owner passed away in the 60's the family kept the car in the garage where he last parked it. The family has recently sold the house which is being knocked down. I was able to get the car out before the house was demolished. The car has minor surface rust as pictures show. All four tires filled up with air, ut the two front tires leak. We did not attempt to crank up motor. As the pictures show, t has the original battery still in it. The family told me that the car was running when he last parked it in 1965. It is not running at this time. Anyone interested in this car is welcome to come and see it. Email with any questions. Car is being sold "as is". Please do not ask me to end auction early. Serious bidders only please. Thanks for looking!
