Car description

I am selling a 1979 Triumph TR7 convertible. This is a fun little car to drive. The car runs great and looks good as well. It runs a 2 Liter/4 cylinder motor with a 5 speed manual transmission. The motor was completely rebuilt about 2 years ago. At that time, converted it from the dual side draft carburetor over to a dual Weber carburetor setup. It made a huge improvement in performance and reliability. I have made a lot of other improvements to the car as well such as electric cooling fan, igher output alternator, pdated electronic ignition, pgraded master cylinder from late model Chevy Camaro, new driveshaft, new struts in front and many others. Have original carbs as wall as many other parts for the car, oth new and used that will be included with the sale. This car did not come with factory air. However, was able to locate several factory parts from an AC equipped TR7 with the intention of eventually adding AC to the car. I have the inside AC/heater unit as well as the AC pulley and AC compressor bracket. With these 3 factory items, ou can easily buy the aftermarket parts needed to complete the AC install. I have checked the interior AC/heater unit and all the switches and fan work.Interior is in good condition. Carpeting and steering wheel are showing some wear. Seats and dash are in great condition with no cracks or tears. Body is straight with no major damage. Paint is a little oxidized but can be returned to a great looking paint job with a little rubbing compound and coat of wax. Title is clean and California registration is current. The car passed smog with flying colors with the stock carburetors on. It runs richer with the dual Webers which would indicate they need to be rejetted for smog purposes. As is right now, t runs great, as good power for a 4 cylinder and gets decent gas mileage. A lot of potential if you are so inclined, r a great little runner as is. I do require a non-refundable $500 deposit within 48 hours of auction close. Car is sold as is, o warrenties, mplied or otherwise. Buyer is responsible for any and all registration requirements within their respective state.
