Car description

Just rebuilt in late 2013 with 9200 miles on since. Pics of entire restoration are available, ransmission rebuilt; overdrive rebuilt; looks to be about 95 point car (owner judged Concours for British sports cars); engine had following performed: Grose jets on carbs; electronic ignition; 3 way valve job; teflon guides; compression upped to 9.5 to 1 and has about 15 to 20 additional horsepower over stock engine; and is running Evans waterless coolant for automobiles, hich is an FAA mandated coolant used on several aircraft (I am a commercial pilot). This runs cooler and is never changed for the life of the engine and since there is no water involved, he interior of the engine (water pump, tc.) never corrodes. The engine, n south Florida summer with air condx turned on in city traffic, uns one-half to two-thirds on temp gauge - Upgraded steering wheel and walnut instrument panel, eriod correct redline tires, new interior, ery nice. Much, uch more below about rebuild specifics:...Okay, ere we go with specifics...All numbers documented with a certificate which goes with the car, ics of restoration, ll emails between seller and myself are included, ocuments, eceipts, itle copies... everything I have connected with the car is included. All numbers and dates have been verified and documented, he documentation records are included, s well.STORY OF THE CAR:The owner bought this from a man named Fred (last name can be furnished) near Daytona Beach who restores TR6s, ags, ealeys, tc. He told me that this car was owned by an attorney who went thru a divorce and sold the car to his wife who basically let it sit. Fred restored it, hen sold it to me...how many owners does that make? I see that as a 2 owner car.Let us know if interested, e can send a lot of stuff over to you but please, erious inquiries only!Following upgrades were incorporated during rebuild/restoration:new headlamp housings and gasketsnew coolant bottle and linenew main wiring harness frontnew steering coupler and rebuilt steering rack also new felts in columnnew batterynew clutch master cylindernew brake servopressure brake valve rebuiltnew brake master cylindernew heavy duty intake manifold gasketnew fuel pumpnew oil pressure switchnew high performance coilnew water pumprebuilt alternatornew thermostat and gasketnew temperature sending unitnew fan beltnew battery cutoff switchnew heater valveall new coolant hoses and clampsrebuilt starternew radiator shroudnew front grillnew coolant overflow pipehead rebuilt and torqued to 80 foot-poundsrockers rebuilt with new shaftnew anti-run-on valvenew antifreezenew hood release cablerebuilt carbs with grose jetsnew clutch slave cylinder and pushrodnew windshield gasket and trimnew dash top and crash pads and center switch plinthnew side marker lampsnew wheel lug nutsnew fuel filterall new fuel hoses and clampsnew emission hoses and clampsnew wiper washer bottle and bracket and motorall dashboard knobs newnew trunk panel kitall wheels blasted and painted including sparenew trunk carpetnew TR floor matsall valves adjusted properlynew plugscompletely rebuilt distributor with new vacuum and bench tested for proper advance and workingsnew emission vacuum linesnew plugs, ires and electronic ignitionnew exhaust downpipescompletely and freshly rebuilt overdrive transmissionnew clutch disc and pressure plate and throw out bearingnew hardened pin for clutch forknew polyurethane gearbox cover and tunnel covernew tranny oil 40 WT non detergent 1,5 qtsnew speedo cablenew tach cablefloors treated with por 15 and covered with rubber coating-will last forever like thatcompletely rebuilt front suspension with all new parts (upper and lower bushes, pper ball joints, ie rods, hocks, alipers, earings, ront brake hoses, ear brake hoses)completely rebuilt rear suspension including bushes, r shock conversion, new handbrake cables, rake shoes, heel cylindersall suspension parts blasted and paintednew brake pads frontall new brake fluid of course-LMAall new stainless exhaust pipes with stock muffler( for sound)new panel light switchnew O-rings on all gaugesnew light switchnew door top cappingstop frame disassembled, lasted and painted to show, ll new seals, elcro, tainless hardwarenew walnut dashrebuilt gauges6 new sparkplugs BPR6ESnew direction indicatornew wood shift knoball new interior panelsnew door handles and window cranksnew air cleanersnew Mc Gregor door sealsnew spare tire cover and trunk carpetcorrect redline spare with new tube on restored wheelnice rear lights and chrome bezelsnice jack and wheel changing toolshas original spare key and spare glove box lock keyfront and rear laser wheel alignment donenew door check strapsnew British Leyland badgesnew decals union jacknew radio blanking platenew kidney pads for center consolenew convertible top, eals and gasketsboth rear hubs rebuilt professionallyaxle u-joints replaced with new onesarmrest installed between seats with storage and electrical connections for 2 cell phones...just a whole bunch more stuff; there was a LOT of work done on this.Vehicle Information:VIN: CF3581UOModel Year: 1973Build Date: 1972-12-14Original Color: Carmine RedCurrent Color: Carmine RedOdometer: about 8,900 miles (total on car around 30,000 miles)Body Code: T 3671 CF and also 6556 CREngine Type: 6 Cyl originalEngine Code: CF3687UE
