I own an automotive repair shop and I have performed professional maintenance for the previous owner at my shop. The car developed a very light engine rod knock and the owner of the vehicle opted to sell the car to me rather than pay for the very expensive engine rebuild. I performed a complete engine rebuild on the vehicle and took care of all mechanical issues I could find including brakes, ngine work, luids, tc... The rebuild on this car was performedas a fun project carefully paying attention to every minor nuance and detail to make sure this car was restored to perfect factory condition. All machine work performed professional machine shop with excellent reputation. Toyota genuine parts were used when possible except in parts where the factory design was prone to problems. For example a high end metal head gasket was used in place of the factory head gasket which is known to fail under normal driving conditions. Theturbo was replaced with remanufactured unit from reputable source.Any questionable parts were replaced during the service including items like the brakes, otor mounts,and dozens of hoses and other miscellaneous gaskets. I have driven the car for an exhilarating 1000 miles then checked and rechecked all mechanical components. This car is operating like it is in its prime, nd you will have a hard time finding another Supra that has been restored to this level of mechanical condition. There is an itemized invoice in the pictures showing all parts replaced and services performed. I take pride in my work and performed this rebuild in a way that would ensure this car will be around for a long time. Condition:Incredible condition for its age. No cracked dash. The paint is still clean and polished. All accessories are in good working order. Tires are new. I even have the original keys with the dealer key tags on the ring. There is some normal wear for a 25 year old car. One of the items that should be noted is the passenger seat has seperated at one of the leather panels along with fading of the leather on the front seats. A complete reupholster kit for seats available at leatherseats.com for reasonable price. The rest of the interior is in excellent condition. Vin numbers on fenders match indicating there have been no accidents. There is also some minor cracking at the bottom of the front bumper, resumably from hitting parking stops. There is also a small dent at the rear of driver fender well and one or two small paint chips. I had a body shop look at the small blemishes, nd they were certain repair would be quick and easy if desired. See pictures. Overall the car is in remarkable shape for what it is.
