1971 Toyota Hilux 1/2 ton pickup truck RN12

Great running and reliable classic Toyota truck. Gets thumbs up everywhere you go, they don't make them like this anymore! I've owned this truck for the last 16 years and has never let me down. Runs and drives great, no squeaks or noises, zero issues. No leaks. Truck is running a 18RC with it's original side loader 4 speed transmission. Engine runs very smooth and has good power.
Has a Weber 32/36 carburetor with mechanical secondaries and electric choke. Transmission shifts well with no grinds or noise. Converted to OEM Toyota electronic ignition from a Celica, no points. Manual steering. Power brakes. KYB shocks. Good glass. No rust except a few bubbles at the fender bottoms, rest of the truck is solid, was a California truck.
Converted front drum brakes to later Hilux twin piston disk brakes. Converted to 1979 truck brake booster / master cylinder and 1990 truck proportioning valve. Stock drum brakes in the rear. Wheels are from a mid 70's Toyota truck with stock hub caps. Good tires and spare. Exhaust is original, has a few leaks but still works.

Jack and tools all there. Interior is in ok condition, seat needs to be reupholstered. Headliner is falling down but new material is included. All electrics work. Gauges all work. Speedometer works ok but the odometer is stuck on 70k. All lights are good but rear tail light lenses are cracking, new ones are included. Has hail dents from three years ago. Exterior looks good, it's a truck, not a garage queen, does what it was built to do.

A ton of parts will also go with this truck, the bed will be totally full !Complete 18RC engine that is stuck from sitting, good for rebuild, has all the gear to mount and run a A/C compressor. Good transmission. Complete good rear end. Leaf springs. Trim. Lights. Hood. Fenders. Complete doors. Glass. Tailgate. Steering. Complete front suspension with drum brakes. Radiator. Fuel tank. Bench seat. Front bumper. Driveshaft. Original carburetor and emissions setup. Lots and lots of other parts (3 - 4 bins worth) used, new, and NOS. I had parted out two Hiluxs years ago.
