1990 Toyota 4Runner SR5 4x4, 3.0L V6 with EFI, 4 speed automatic transmission, 2 speed transfer case, 203,000 original miles, NEW ENGINE AT 162K, NEW TRANSMISSION AT 200K, NEW TIRES AT 203K, front disc brakes, rear anti-lock brakes, protective steel skid plates, power steering/tilt wheel, P225/75/R15 tires, silver disc wheels/mudguards, electric rear window defogger, power rear window, digital clock, reclining cloth bucket seats, all weather guard package, rear window wiper/washer, chrome bumpers, cruise control, air conditioning, rear heater, cloth sport seats w/headrests, bronze windshield and door window privacy glass, carpeted floor mats, rear wind deflector, towing receiver hitch, roof rack, running boards, factory installed Pioneer multi-disc CD player.
This is a 2 owner all original Florida vehicle. It is completely rust and corrosion free.Included in the sale is the original Toyota factory invoice showing a MSRP of $23,201, the Toyota MotorCorporation 1990 4Runner Repair Manuals, volume 1 and 2, and the Repair Manual Supplement. I have a clean Florida title issued in 2003. I have owned this 4Runner since 2016. It has just been sitting in my storage and I decided it is time to send it down the road.
The previous owner spent $6,800 to replace the engine, $3,300 to rebuild the original transmission, and $600 for the 5 new tires. $10,700 for just those items. I have many receipts and records that document the maintenance and mileage.

The 4Runner engine was replaced with a new factory short block assembly by Toyota of Melbourne 41,706 miles ago, and the heads were machined and rebuilt 57,200 miles ago, the engine starts right up and runs and idles smoothly, the transmission was rebuilt by AAMCO 3,113 miles ago, it shifts smoothly and the 4 wheel drive system engages properly with no issues, the radiator, thermostat, hoses, and drive belts were replaced 7 miles ago and the cooling system maintains proper operating temperature, a brand new battery with a 12 month warranty was installed on 3-3-20, 5 new tires were installed by Firestone 207 miles ago. The suspension and brakes are firm and strong, the vehicle makes no unusual drive train or suspension sounds or noises while driving. There are no drivability issues of any type.
This is a completely rust and corrosion free southern vehicle. the original body is in great condition, the Forest Green Metallic paint is good condition on the sides of the vehicle but it is faded on the roof and the hood from exposure to the Florida sun. The hood and chrome grille are the only body or interior parts not original to the vehicle. The original TOYOTA and V6 grille emblems are included. They do not fit on the aftermarket chrome grille.
PLEASE READ ITEMS 1-4 BEFORE BIDDING!
1. The valve cover gaskets need to be replaced and possibly the oil pan gasket. It does drip a small amount of oil forward of the front axle when the engine is running. The oil leak does not drip on the exhaust and does not create any smoke.
2. The air conditioning appears to be the original R12 system, the on/off switch works and the fan motor blows, but the system does not get cold.
3. The shift lock override button must be depressed to get the vehicle to shift out of park.
4. There is a small exhaust leak at the manifold on the passenger side. It is audible at idle and while accelerating but not very noticeable while driving at a constant speed.
