NO RESERVE: This is a 1989 Toyota Short Bed Deluxe 4x4 Pickup. This truck was given to me by my friend in 2018 - she bought it new, locally from Fairfax, TOYOTA (VA) in 1989 and was the original owner. My wife and I have used it for gardening around the yard. Over the last three years, the truck has traveled 516 miles.
Power comes from a 2.4-liter 22RE engine which features electronic fuel injection and which produced 117 hp and 140 lb-ft of torque when new.The2.4-liter inline-four is mated to a 5-speed manual gearbox and 2-speed transfer case. The truck has never been painted or been damaged. The graphics seen on the vehicle cam e with it from the factory. A couple of years ago we replaced the two front fenders as they had some rust showing. This Toyota pickup comes with the original paper work from the dealer seen pictured. The truck is in my name and has a clean title.
Power is sent to the wheels via a 5-speed manual gearbox and a 2-speed transfer case. The manually locking front hubs work as they should, a photos of the under body are viewable to show the rust.
Over the years we have had the exhaust replaced and all the brake lines were replaced... with the exception of the front passenger side brake hose which went out the other day. It currently does not have brakes and will need to be picked up. The hand brake is finiky but otherwise the battery is great, the vehicle starts all the time, the clutch is good and it can cruise on the highway smoothly at 60 with no tremors or shakes.
You can see the rear bumper has been eaten away but the rubber pads are still in place and there is a rust hole on the passenger side near the bottom of the door.
There is rust on the underside and I am sure in other places not easily seen as well - for some people (like me) it's not an issue as this is a gardening truck for us but for others it is an issue.
The truck is being sold AS-IS. Please don't come back after the sale and tell me that there is rust on the vehicle or that the brakes don't work. There are no refunds, you bid, you win, you buy it, you own it. No guarantees - I have described the condition as best as I can. What you see in the pictures and my description are honest representations of the condition of the vehicle from what I know. There may be other issues that I am not aware of that is why it's sold AS-IS.

The wheels are steel factory wheels and have "new" tires - they are several years old but have only about 500 miles wear on them. The truck came with a Duraliner drop-in bed liner.
The gray interior includes an adjustable cloth bench seat, roll-up windows and is a 5 speed gear shift vehicle. The AC works fine as do all the lights. The Ash tray is missing. The odometer shows 163k miles which is original and correct.Power is sent to the wheels via a 5-speed manual gearbox and a 2-speed transfer case.
