Car description

For sale is my 1985 Toyota Pickup SR5. This vehicle has been rebuilt from front to back. New crated engine & clutch assembly installed in 2013 with fewer than 500 miles since (odometer reads 329K and is the oldest thing in the truck). Locker in the rear, lower gears, 4" lift, after market suspension, new radiator, alternator, exhaust system, headlights, parking lights... too much to list. Topper is is water tight and could easily be nicely restored with some effort. Needs rear glass and locking mechanism. Plastic bed liner. Very little rust and spray on bed-liner material up to just above the rocker panels all around. Tires are 32" BFG Mud TAs.
Interior is beautiful with SR5 trim package, new carpet kit, nice after market vinyl "pleather" seats. Stereo is sweet with 4 speakers and lifetime Sirius as long as the antenna works. I also have a power converter hard wired.
THIS TRUCK HAS A RECONSTRUCTED TITLE. I encourage any prospective buyer to do their own research. I was able to find very little detail related to the original incident. I purchased this truck knowing that it was not a clean title, as did several parties before me. (The accident report from WA in 2007 was a fender bender. Pics of driver's side bumper and fender flare show slight resulting damage) If this concerns you, please do your own research as suggested above. I really don't know anything about it.
What I do know is that this truck is a beast off road... the legendary 1985 22R with solid front axle. It runs like a champ and is actually not half bad on the highway. Note: lower gear ratio does cause the speedometer to indicate speed at 10 MPH lower than actual.
I have spent thousands on this truck and want nothing more than for it to find a great home. I just don't drive it enough. I will answer any questions I am able but please understand that I don't have the technical background to engage in any kind of in depth mechanical discussion.
