1986 Toyota Pickup Truck Rare Xtra Cab and Long Bed with Automatic Trans 2WD

1986 Toyota Pickup Truck 2WD, one family owned since new. Was my father's who used it for his camper. This pickup has the extremely rare combination of both an extended cab and a long bed on a longer wheelbase. The vast majority had either extended cab or long bed but not both. I read online that Toyota made less than 1,000 of this combination in 1986/1987. It also has an automatic transmission with overdrive which is not common. Trans was rebuilt years ago. Original R22 engine runs well, had upper end rebuilt at 110K years ago. Heater core leaks so is disconnected. Factory air blows cold except that it will only operate on high. Radio barely works. In the photos you may notice an aftermarket cruise control unit but it has missing parts and is inoperative. Everything else works such as blinkers, horn, lights, power steering, power brakes, and wipers. Needs tires, paint, and cracked windshield replaced. Battery starts the truck but is old and needing replacement. Recently drove 200 miles at freeway speeds. Original headliner and upholstery in good shape. Bumpers and body have a few dents, but is a no rust California vehicle. Does have a tiny bit of surface rust where paint has chipped off, such as on the hood. Runs and drives great.

I've been told that this rare long wheelbase extended cab with long bed combination is actually desirable and collectible, and that someone might actually want to restore this one. To be restored it would need everything. Or, it can be used as is for a work truck once you have good tires, new windshield, etc. I have a clear California title in my name but it is not currently registered for the road as it has just been driven on my property except for a couple long drives when moving.
