Car description |

It has been quite some time since I've sold a car on Ebay. In 2001, a friend of mine listed a 1976 Toyota celica GT that I restored. I restore a few of these celica's from time to time, but I generally sell them locally.
I purchased this car a few years ago from a gentleman who had done some work to the engine and had plans to restore the car but did not have the means to do so. My father and I operated a used Toyota dealership for several decades and I had some of the parts the car needed to restore it which included nearly pristine doors and factory moldings. In total the restoration was 150+ hours. The car was painted in Toyota super red and has brand new Goodyear tires (225 front/235 back). The previous owner installed a KNN air filter which gives the car some added pep and seems to increase the gas mileage considerably (28-30mpg). I have done some other odds and ends to the car which includes brakes, exhaust, etc. The car has a great sound to it when you start it up and it drives down the road nicely. It turns a few heads as there are very few of these that have survived. The motor and transmission are very solid. I can provide a video if you'd like to hear the car run.
There are a few minor things the car could use but are not neccessary to enjoy it right away.
#1 windshield wiper motor#2 passenger side power window switch(the drivers side works and can operate passenger side window from that switch)#3 windshield has a foot long crack in front of passengers view (see picture)#4 dashboard has an area that needs to be resurfaced or replaced (see picture)#5 radio does not work#6 air conditioning compressor was taken out by previous owner to maximize performance
Feel free to contact me with any further questions: Ryan.slatert@gmail.com
