Car description

1989 FJ62 - 263k original miles on stock 3F engine
Second owner. Properly maintained throughout it's life. Original owner had it serviced through Toyota dealership in California (so minimal surface wear before coming to Utah) and second owner is a master mechanic and properly pampered it with oil changed every 5k miles. Custom stainless steel bumper, winch, full size tire carrier, roof rack, winch, snorkel, front locker.
Rubber is 265/75/16 Goodyear wrangler with 60% tread left and full size spare regularly rotated, US Mag steelies. Owner is only selling due to his age but has cherished this FJ62 for it's original beauty and purpose. Also has brand new dual interstate batteries and new starter.
I am the third owner, the only reason i am selling is because i bought a 1965 FJ40 and am using the money to restore it back to original. Runs and drives great, super reliable, just did a 320 mile trip last weekend with it, and it ran awesome. I looked long and hard to find something that was not rusty, and that had been taken care of. There is no hidden rust as this has not ever been repainted.
Fiberglass rocker panels were carefully put on so if you want to take it back to stock you can. They are not put on there to hide rust. Heater and A/C work very well. The A/C is so cold it will freeze you out. New plugs and plug wires, and recent oil/transmission fluid change. I also put in a new fuel filter. Runs and drives fine will do 70-75 fine. Brakes are good too. Has a warn front mount winch that works good, and new bilstein front shocks. Right now it has man a fre leaf springs all around with newer poly bushings. Stock height. I bought it from the 2nd owner because he had gotten a new tacoma but he was very proud of it, and it was always garage. Paint is original and in good shape. Car was babied and taken care of. Only selling because i need the room to restore my 1965 FJ40.
Fly in and drive home. I would trust to drive this across the country.
