Here is a 1989 Toyota MR2 NA with a manual 5spd Transmission. This has to be one of the most fun cars I've ever driven! I've fixed the major mechanical issues with... it. Now it just needs some fine tuning and tlc. It has a new clutch, clutch slave cylinder, clutch master cylinder, Fuel tank, pump & filter. The timing belt was done just before the clutch went out. 4 tires and installing the muffler would put it on the road as a decent looking daily driver. It has a clean history via Autocheck. From what I've seen this body style MR2's are either trashed or near perfect. This one is in the upper middle of the echelon. This will make a great car and the MR2 prices along with all 80's-90's Japanese cars are rising.

Mechanical:

Mechanically the MR2 is in good shape for what it is. It starts right up, engine sounds great. The transmission shifts great. It has a new clutch and both slave and master cylinders. The suspension is tight but I'm sure some of the bushings could be replaced. The catalytic converter and muffler have been removed. I have a brand new muffler to go along with it. The check engine light is on for an oxygen sensor- one wire is frayed from touching the axle. The brakes work well. The timing belt was done right before the clutch went out along with cam seals etc. Both head lights pop up and work. It will need 4 tires. They have tread but are dry rotted.

Interior:

The interior is in good shape. All pieces as far as I can tell are there. The seats are in great shape. The dash does not have any cracks. The windows work. The driver side T-top does not open. Both sun shades for the t-tops are there. The AC is not blowing cold. The odometer, speedometer, temperature and oil pressure gauge work. The fuel gauge, battery gauge do not. The tach works intermittently. Ive read its a few resistors. Please look at all the pictures.

Exterior:

The body is in good shape for the year. It has been repainted at some point. There aren't and major dents or dings. I was planning on a repaint. The underneath is pretty clean. The only rust spot I found is on the driver side rear lower 1/4- see pics. The paint looks decent but is chipping here and there around the edges.
