Car description |
---|
1975 Toyota Corolla Deluxe Automatic Hardtop. Believed to have only 35k original miles (according to original owner). It still runs and drives great but smokes a bit. New carb ( I have the original carb and air cleaner), tires, and battery. Original paint and interior with normal wear and tear for the year. Surface rust where the paint has thinned, under the truck lid, and some small rust holes under the quarter panel. Great little car to drive or restore!
With so many body styles, the 1975 Corolla was available in many trim levels. The sedans both came as a standard, DX or E5. The coupes came as a standard or a SR5. The wagon came as a standard or DX. All came with a 1.6-liter engine, except for the two-door sedan, which came with a 1.2-liter engine. Also new for 1975, a catalytic convertible was included in the Toyota Corolla
The 1975 Toyota was criticized for being more expensive and less fuel-efficient compared to its competitors, like the Honda Civic and the Datsun B210.
In 1975, Toyota introduced the TTC-L (Toyota Total Clean-Lean Burn) on the 12T engine only, using a lean burn implementation
