Car description

1987 Toyota 4runner. 4cyl., 4wd, 5speed manual. Starts right up, runs/drives/stops great. More pep than stock with 14,000 miles on rebuilt 22re with:-polished and ported head,-new gaskets and seals,-new timing chain with metal guides (as opposed to plastic factory guides)- rod and main bearings,- rv cam with rockers,- fuel filter,- radiator from v6 model,- thermostat,- tie rod ends,- poly bushings- plugs, wires, cap, rotor, air filter,-clutch disk and flywheel.....with receipts.Within the past 3000 miles I've replaced both lower ball joints with greasable moogs, AcDelco idler arm, left upper moog control arm with greasable ball joint, new starter with ford relay, power steering belt with tensioner pulley, alternator belt, new driver side window crank apparatus. Rewired ignition to push button start. Wiper motor rewired to after market switch near parking brake control (2 speed w/ spray washer) Included with sale is a right side upper control arm (moog) and right door crank window apparatus. It doesn't need either, but I often purchase things in pairs... just incase.Almost new 31 inch pathfinder a/t.No rot and virtually no rust! (Aside from some light scale on exhaust manifold) This 4runner is originally from Arizona and just saw it's 1st snow. 4wd...4 hi and 4 low work great and as they should with locking warn hubs. Transmission shifts into all gears perfectly. Engine has great oil pressure, no leaks, has never overheated on me or left me stranded. Rear window motor operates with key in tailgate. Rear wiper motor is functioning. No a/c. Excellent heat. Am/fm/disk with aux deck. Newer speakers in dash and one tweeter on windshield pillar. All lights work. Passed N.Y. inspection in Sept. It has been painted over the factory paint and peeling off in spots that can be seen in the photos (e.g. front chrome bumper, and right rear corner panel). Some shopping cart type dings here and there and rear tailgate has the worst of the body flaws. Glass is all intact with no cracks. No check eng./mil lamps on. All windows that should operate, do operate. All gauges work. All brakes are in excellent condition including parking brake. Speedometer is inaccurate ~5mph at highway speeds due to oversized tires. It has a frame mounted, 2 inch, trailer hitch receiver with newly wired flat four pin connection. Interior is gray and black (waterproof) marine vinyl with blue camo. Headliner missing over front cab and torn on fiberglass cap. Missing some plastic trim peices. The original gray fabric interior is under the black/gray/blue camo upholstery (minus the front seats which the fabric was completely removed). Front dash is cracked in a couple spots and is covered with a carpet dash mat.Of course this is a first generation 4runner so it has the removable hard top. These are becoming harder to come by (not to mention rust free). This is great to drive as is, or a perfect candidate for restoration.
Being sold at auction with NO Reserve, as is. Buyer is responsible for pick up or arranging shipping. Deposit of $500 to be made within 24 hours after auction has ended. Payment in full to be paid within 7 days of auction end date. 4runner will not leave my procession until paid in full.
