1992 Toyota Landcruiser FJ80 4.0L - “Raptor Lined” Original Resto Diff-Locks

This is a 1992 Toyota Landcruiser J80 Series with a one of a kind and all Original "Raptor Lined" paint job. For those not familiar with Raptor lining and their numerous color options, it is essentially just like Rhino lining. This is a newer trend and with many great colors to choose from.... it has recently grown in popularity. This Landcruiser, being located in the South and Texas for all of its life, is nearly 100% rust free. Upon close inspection, there are no tells of any accidents , bondo, or bodywork on the body whatsoever. This Toyota Landcruiser is equipped with a 4.0 Liter 6 Cylinder engine that recently had an upper engine rebuild in 2015. It is backed by a rebuilt transmission that was finished in September of 2014. It is 4x4 AWD. It is fully functional. The front end was completely rebuilt with a newer rebuilt shaft, and New Bearings, and ties on January of 2018. Within the last 4 years it has had a new water pump, new power steering pump, new A/C Compressor, New Radiator, New Condenser, New Brakes, Newer Brake Booster, and Alternator. In additio, in just the past two years the truck had other parts replaced ....including...a new complete set of Monroe Shocks all around, the idle control valve, mass air flow sensor, throttle body and idle control relay, cold start senser, and cold start injector switch. These were parts that are typically routinely replaced about every 10-15 years during more extensive tuneups and maintenance checks. Mechanically, this is an excellent driving vehicle and runs and performs to Perfection. The vast majority of these repairs and parts replaced were performed at the time of many routine maintenance and regularly scheduled vehicle inspections. In short, this vehicle has been diagnosed and gone through in an effort to make it and keep it mechanically fit as possible while replacing or repairing any known potential issues. The oil in this SUV has been consistently changed and will typically run best on a Mobil 1 higher mileage grade oil or other major brand high mileage listed oils will be fine as well. The tires were replaced a year and a half ago and have about 10,000 miles on them. The are Mickey Thompson 33 X 12.50 X 15 tires that cover 15-inch Vision after market wheels. The wheels and Tires (one of the most aggressive looking off road/highway tires available) are balanced to specifications and give it an aggressive off road look and stance with a still smooth highway ride.This Landcruiser is ready to drive daily with the simple turn of the key. Very Reliable! Many receipts for maintenance and work documentation can be provided. This SUV has been used as a highway commuter for a 90 mile 6 day a week round trip to work in an office position for the past number of years. It performs excellent and has continued to be reliable and comfortable as well. I must say these Toyota Landcruisers have to be about the most reliable and worry free vehicles-they exceed all expectations and reputation. They are more than capable of completing most any task that is attempted. I would not hesitate to hop in it and drive coast to coast...worry free! The engine on these particular vehicles are unique in that they do not have a timing chain or belt. They have a life time gear instead. Hence they are well renown to perform 500,000 miles+++ without any major issues. Reliability in short. Mechanically this SUV is more than ready and well serviced for many years to come. The interior is in great condition and has been very gently used through the years. You will find the interior Brown carpet is all original and in excellent shape with no tears or noticeable discoloration...it has held up great! The seats are in excellent condition and have no rips, tears, or restiching whatsoever. The overall interior ranks a 9/10 Condition wise. The interior components are up to specifications as well. It has a custom made-custom fit dash mat to cover a few cracks, which are very typical with the landcruisers.These dash tops are easily replaceable. You will find four fully functional power windows and an Extremely Large working Power Sunroof with tilt and slide back features as well. This SUV has working power mirrors and tilt steering as well. It is equipped with an Alpine stereo and location slots for "Eleven" total speakers.(All Factory fitted). The sound system sound is very good with what I believe to be 8 working speakers and 3 non-working very far rear( third row seat area speakers). I thought it would be overkill to have the full eleven speakers in this SUV. The speakers that I know of that are working are Sony brand and Kenwood, with Infinity brand tweeters up front under the dash. This truck has Brand New Rear Modernized tail lights and the more expensiv, moder, cooler an, brighter HID Headlights up front. The texture of this Raptor line application is somewhat smooth, yet bumpy to the touch. The unique Raptor Lined Paint job has a bit thicker 3/8 inch almost Kevlar like bullet proof feel to its rough textured smoother finish.This is essentially refined and colored bed liner material. This particular company " Raptor" has 10-12 colors available. The blue color is more refined than most of the brighter color choices that Raptor offers. I definitely get plenty of compliments most everywhere that I travel with remarks of how cool the truck looks on a regular basis. It is lower maintenance as far as cleaning and does not take on scratche, dents, or dings. It is resistentant to most anything that you can throw it's way. It does however take a while to naturally dry completely as you can see in these photos. It was just washed about two hours before being photographed. The typical application of this liner on a vehicle will usually run $3,500-$4,000++ in cost. This is a Fun, Proven and very Reliable vehicle. This Landcruiser is great as a daily driver, a weekend toy for trips to the lake,park,river,or beach. It would also be a great third vehicle just for the weekends. The J80 series vehicles are beginning their run in popularity for good reason. Their lesser reliable counterparts of the 1980s era landcruiser pale in comparison to the more modern and practical J80 series of 1990-1997.
