Car description |

I bought this truck last fall as an unfinished project. The previous owner had bought it with no engine and was trying to bring the rig back to life. It is not completely finished but these older toyota trucks never are.
The good newsHas new engine 5k on it done by a reputable machine shop(it is a 22re block turbo blocks are hard to find but had the additional oil feed line professionally installed)New fuel injectors, remaned turboNew front brakes, pads and rotorsNew tires all the way aroundNew batteryNew radio antennaeLiterally thousands of dollars worth of work and little parts that I cant rememberTruck was never chopped, lifted or cut its about as bone stock as a turbo runner can beIt has the neat old school atari style speedometer set up(see pictures)
The not so good newsHas the typical windshield rust that many older toyotas suffer from. Its not heinous but it is present(see pictures)
Rear window stopped working about a month ago, havent been motivated to figure out the source could be as simple as a fuse or could be more involved than that?
Transmission shifts funky, it pops. Truck does drive and can maintain speed but at very least needs a flush maybe more than that?
It has some small cosmetic issues, damaged drivers side head rest, crack in the dashboard, its not perfect but it sure looks better than me after 30 years of use
