NO RESERVE!!TRUCK WILL SELL LOCATED BILLINGS,MONTANA
1988 Toyota stretch cab 4x4. Very hard to find. Aftermarket stretch cab, full bench seat in back, with seat belts. Fiberglass, weatherproof. Done for Toyota, then sold brand new on Toyota lots.
This one was converted with a generation 1 Chevrolet 350 v8 small block. The engine mounts look very professional. The engine sounds cammed. Has gear to gear timing drive, it whines like there is a blower under the hood, it's rather amusing.
Edelbrock intake manifold, Holley electric choke vacuum secondary single pump carb. Vintage Ram horn exhaust manifolds, rebuilt larger valve camel hump heads.
Aluminum radiator, electric fuel pump with Holley fuel regulator.
Starts right up, runs great, could use pump shot adjustment in my opinion.
Has an oil leak, not sure if it's the passenger valve cover or the chrome oil pan
It's very fun to drive it's almost too much power for the weight.
Advanced adaptors system mates the Chevy engine to the bullet proof Toyota 5 speed transmission. Perfect synchros great clutch grab.
Dual exhaust out the rear bumper, sounds great!
Truck is an air conditioned model but there isn't a pump on the engine and no condenser.
Truck has rust bubbling on tail gate and box, it is what it is at least the rest of the truck is solid. Boxes are cheap and plentiful, this one can still be saved. Or make a flat bed
The truck appears to have fancy stereo system components on the passenger inner fender and large amp wires routed into the cab extension.
Nice vintage aluminum wheels with aggressive tires, light weather checking but I wouldn't hesitate to drive cross country on them.
Cool truck, it needs an appreciative home, happy to work with shippers or pickup arrangements.
Feel free to message me any questions- Cory
