Car description

So it's got some rust, and it needs to be gone thru to get it running super solid but. . . It's super cool and rare in the United States. Only about 4,000 of these ever made it over here.

I fell in love with it and bought it and quickly realized I do not have the skill level, patience or time to fix it up to what it deserves. I changed the oil, transmission fluid, coolant flush and changed out the hoses on it which were all original. Also set it to the correct point distance.
I drive it around the hood but will need to be fixed up if you wanted to take it on bigger drives.
I don't know the actual mileage and it may have turned over I'm not sure.
The Good:
Mechanics:
  • Original motor runs and usually starts on one turn
  • Brakes work
  • Transmission/shifting/clutch work
  • It's got a 4 on the tree shifter which is just cool
Body:
  • Interior is original and in good shape
  • Most of the rust is just surface rust that can be sanded off
Electrical:
  • Gas Gauge works
  • Odometer works
  • Speed Gauge works
  • Head Lights work
  • Windshield wipers work

The Bad:
Mechanics:
  • Motor back fires and loses power here and there, I adjusted the points and that helped a little but have not done a compression test or anything else
  • Brakes work but are a little soft and probably need to be replaced
  • Clutch grinds here and there and needs to be gone through
Body:
  • Rusted through in a few places(doors, spots on the roof, spots on the bed) mostly small holes
Electrical:
  • Horn doesn't work
All in all this thing is super cool and rare and I just want it to go to the right home where someone with the time, inclination and no how will fix it up right and get it running solid again! Great for an OG-restore, resto-mod or rat rod!
Let me know if you have any other questions!
