Car description

This 1982 Toyota SR5 4X4 long bed is a true survivor - All original except for the lift and wheels. Original 22R motor with 147K miles, original paint and original interior. It runs perfectly, drives smoothly, doesn't leak a drop of oil and is too much fun to drive. If you appreciate these older 4WD Toyota's with the legendary 22R motor, you will love this one.

I absolutely HATE to sell her, but I need to pare down the "toys" in my garage. I am the 3rd owner, and the truck is titled and registered in my name, located in Huntington Beach, CA.

It features the following:

  • 2.4L SOHC 22R engine
  • 5 speed manual transmission
  • 33" BFGs and Enkei wheels
  • AM/FM center console
  • Dual mirrors
  • Tachometer & oil / volt gauges
  • Fully carpeted
  • Adjustable low-back bucket seats
  • Original floor jack

History
The truck was purchased new in CA, moved to Washington state by the original owner, and then on to Arizona, where it was purchased by the 2nd owner, from whom I bought it last year. I am the third owner.

Exterior
Don't let the surface rust scare you - there's absolutely no rot, just excellent patina. Even on the roll bar. The paint was sun baked to perfection by Arizona's bone-dry climate. Scotch Brite and clear coat it, and you'll have a finish only nature can create. Not equipped with AC or power steering, so cancel that gym membership and get a workout for free!

Interior
It's all there and in very good shape. No cracks in the dash, no rips in the headliner, and only one small tear in the side of the driver's seat. No rips in the carpet.

Mechanical
Drives wonderfully. Since I've had her, I've had the carb rebuilt, a new battery put in, and a new catalytic converter installed. She passed smog easily on 4/26/18. Everything works.

I'm happy to assist with shipping, but would love to see this stay home in CA when it came from.
