Car description

LISTING HAS BEEN REVISED

If you are looking for a 1st gen 4runner, I believe you will see a few different price ranges for these trucks$2000-4000 = probably lots of rust and needing work$5000-8000 = decent condition trucks but vary in appeal according to overall condition and "options"$10k and above = real nice examples of a 4 runner probably no rust and original
Within these price ranges you will see some more desirable trucks that are 5spd/manuals

My truck is one of the better examples in the middle category.
See pictures. This truck had a frame off build. There is no rust on the frame or under carriage.I am sure that I missed some things below.

Work done in the last year - I have receipts..
Interior carpets replacedEngine rebuildComplete exhaust - cat etcChassis paintedBody mounts and bushings Radiator fan clutchBrake systemball jointsalternatorwheel bearingstie rods and pitman armso2 sensorsalignmentsteering gearstarterClutch master cylinderexhaust manifoldpower steering pump seals rebuiltEngine rebuilt 2 years ago - long block rebuild with warranty that is now expired. Was 2 yr warranty. Cost $1700. Mileage on receipt for engine rebuild is 170k. Odometer on dash says 37k approx., so I put mileage as 170k for ebay purposesTire have lots of tread. Truck drives straightNEW CLUTCH as of last week - see belowNEW CV BootALL NEW FLUIDS in trans and transfer caseAC Works COLD
Rear window works

There was a small oil leak that I believed to be the rear main seal. As of last week, I took the transmission out and replaced the main seal. While I did that I also put in a new clutch even though it didn't need it. I have driven the truck since then and see that the oil leak still exists. That is the only issue I would address long term if I am the buyer.I have 3 other vehicles and my interest in this truck has faded. You will be hard pressed to find one that has had this much work done to it. It runs great.Feel free to call me or text with questions910.319.1717
