Up for sale from my personal collection is a 1985 Toyota Pickup restored as Marty's truck from Back to the Future! Just shy of being a nut and bolt restoration, the work done on the truck is as follows:
- Rebuilt engine w/ new head and camshaft
- New clutch
- New paint job (about a year old)
- New windshield glass and trim
- New wheels and tires
- New Smittybilt rear bumper (front bumper is refinished and original)
- New rollbar
- New front and roll bar KC hilites
- New interior (headliner, carpet, seats, door panels, etc)
- New window tint
- New tailgate
- New hood
- New brake pads and rotors
- New speakers w/updated head unit and amplifier (Kenwood)
- New headlights/sidemarkers and taillights
- New grille, door lamps, and valance
- New side mirrors
- And so much more...
I have spent upwards of $25k on restoration of this truck. The vehicle shows to have just over 255k miles, but the restoration and engine rebuild have less than 2000 miles on them (it is mostly driven to events and car shows). Even the A/C works! It has won trophies and is always an eye catcher everywhere it goes. I have enjoyed owning it and driving it, but some financial matters have come up and the money is needed elsewhere. Please note: the seats do have harnesses, but the top of the harnesses have not been attached yet.I have not done this in case someone wishes to put original seats back in the truck (harness installation requires a bar to be welded/bolted to the frame). Other than this, the truck is complete and ready to drive! I ran out of pics to post, but I cansend a pic of the engine bay upon request. Please be aware that if youare the winning bidder and fail to makefinal payment, you will lose your deposit.Thestarting bid isVERY LOW, especiallyfor a truck of this quality and rarity and there is NO RESERVE!!! Please do not hesitate to ask any questions and good luck bidding!!!
