Car description |
---|
1982 Toyota Land Cruiser FJ-40, roughly 81,800 miles with factory A/C, factory power steering and disc brakes! This beautiful FJ40 was professionally restored in 2012 by Toyoda out of Valencia and still looks like it just rolled off the showroom floor. Definitely a collector's dream, and is one of the finest examples out there. This Land Cruiser has the 4.2 Liter inline 6 Cylinder engine, and 4 speed manual transmission. Along with a removable soft top, brand new flooring mats, seat belts, and tires. Truck has been fully serviced, and comes with brand new OEM hubcaps, a Bluetooth radio and 2 speakers.
This vehicle was full restored by a company called Toyoda Restorations, you can find them on Instagram athttps://www.instagram.com/toyodarestauraciones/. Once fully restored this vehicle was owned by a 1 owner in Florida as was used as a weekend show car and the transport for the grand kids. I bought this beauty site unseen knowing the workmanship of Toyoda Restoration but after trying to get it smoged in this wonderful state of California (toughest state in the country) I am forced to sell it. In California there is no 35 year and older law, its simply 1975 years and older, all others have to pass smog every two years.
Since I have owned this beauty 6+ months I have serviced it, had all the breaks adjusted front disc, rear drum. replaced the rear door seals, replaced the snap/lock fasteners on for the soft top, purchased the mounting brackets and OEM hub caps (not installed), new floor mats, new clutch cylinder as the previous one had a little leak, replaced the coolant and washer fluid bottle and all hoses, new battery, added seat belts to the rear jumper seats, and new floor mats. I spent an additional $2k making it perfect.
This is a beautiful, perfectly running classic. Enjoy!
