Car description

For sale is my 1984 Toyota Land Cruiser model BJ60 Diesel. I am selling due to the fact that I just purchased a full sized van and my parking situation is limited. This Land Cruiser has proven to be my most reliable vehicle. It starts in cold weather when my dodge would not. It is in great mechanical shape, but the body has significant rust (that is its main issue), but it drives great. It has 270,444 miles (435,239 km). This winter I drove it halfway across the country with no problems whatsoever. This is the 3B naturally aspirated (non-turbo) diesel engine, 5 speed manual transmission, roof rack, factory manual. This is the G sub-model. Back seats were removed.
This is a Canadian Vehicle which was legally imported into the US, that is why it reads in Kilometers.
THE GOOD- Diesel engine gets 20 miles per gallon driving the speed limit on the highway.- Transmission shifts great, all gears work- Glass is in good shape (front windshield replaced recently)- Aftermarket Exhaust Temp Gauge Installed on Dash- All fluids checked and changed regularly (coolant, oil, transfer, etc done recently)- Heater Works- Aftermarket straight piped exhaust (LOUD)- 4WD Works Great- Trailer hitch- Brakes work (front brakes replaced last year)
THE BAD- Rust on rear wheel wells (holes rusted through where there is black tape), rust under doors, on rear tailgate and under tailgate. Rust on frame, but does not effect driving. Some spots are delaminating under vehicle.- Tear on drivers seat- Clear Coat is peeling- Small oil leak
I have a clear title in hand. I will be advertising this vehicle locally and I reserved the right to end the auction early. Please feel free to ask me any questions that you may have. $500 deposit is due within 48 hours of the auction closing. Please only serious buyers.
This vehicle gets a lot of attention and is fun to drive. The body is not in the best of shape, but it is in full working order with no serious problems other than those mentioned.
