**Please ignore the VIN** . This vehicle is an import from Japan and does not have a North American VIN rather a frame number. This is a US registered vehicle.If you're ready to be the envy of the back roads or the concrete jungle then this hard to find and extremely rare vehicle is for you. I toiled for some time over selling this 4x4 beast but the time has finally come. Yes it is the 4.2 L Turbo Diesel.
This vehicle is in Kms/hr and a right hand drive JDM import. It is full-time four wheel drive with diff locks. it is fully loaded with a sunroof and incredibly clean. Some if the clear coat is pealing/fading on the roof and hood, as it does on most of these vehicles, with some minor body rust (see pics).
Everything works except the headlight sprayers. The undercarriage has been sprayed by factory and practically rust free.
Anyone who knows these vehicles, knows their mind boggling potential, you just have to YouTube or Google its abilities.
What I have done since 200,000 Kms:
New timing belt and pulley and V-belts
Newly rebuilt alternator
New batteries
AMZOIL in the engine and trans
Front hubs re-packed
K&N Air filter
New tires
New windshield last summer with a couple of chips (thanks to our winter)
New Wagner shocks
A/C rechargeNew wipers
Brake fluid drain and fill
I have had an Alpine BT stereo professionally installed with high end speakers in the doors and dash, sounds awesome! Rear sub left alone.
Yes I have babied this thing! It is extremely reliable and the most fun driving vehicle I've ever owned.
It is rock solid and runs like a champ with smooth shifting throughout. I would drive this machine across the globe if need be. Amazing torque and gives little crap about mud and snow. I am selling it because I will never use it to it's full potential since i rarely leave thecomforts of concrete.
There's a lot of life left in this machine. I have seen these cruisers run for well over 600,000 Kms (400,000 Miles) before an overhaul.
This vehicle has never pulled a load but I did find a receiver hitch recently and put it on just in case I needed to. It just has to be wired.
**It is my daily driver so mileage may vary just slightly**
Vehicles is mostly stock and ready for mods if that's your fancy.
