Car description |

This is a custom, heavily modified 1980 FJ40-Land Cruiser, with a 454 big block Chevy motor. It is sold as-is. I'm happy to answer any questions that I can. My neighbor is a retired mechanic and can answer questions that I cannot. It starts and runs great. The tires are 44" x 21". If someone put regular sized tires on it, it'd be hard to keep on the ground! It's light and has lots of power. The doors easily can be removed and are a flimsy material. The back is open. I installed a new stereo/blue tooth/usb enabled and it sounds great. I had custom fenders installed on the back tires to make it street legal here in Oregon. I had new exhaust, dual, side exit, put in last year. I have used this to simply drive around town and go through some mud/snow on occasion but it's mostly been babied. I drive only a few miles/day, never going far. People around town love it and often follow me home to have pictures taken as you can imagine. It is truly one of a kind and turns every head. It cranks right up every time. It's not a normal driving vehicle, and doesn't turn on a dime. Those familiar with this vehicle will understand its limitations and capabilities. It has a fully functional 10,000 lb wrench on the front. A cooler on the back that can be easily removed. It sounds great. We have fixed things as needed and kept it running smoothly for several years. I had the electrical work redone and upgraded when I got it in 2015 as it was a hazard. It has dual batteries located behind the seats so if someone wanted to add a wrench on the back, or needed more battery power- it's ready to go. The next items I'd consider addressing are the brakes and the carburetor/modulator. It has an older tuner installed but would benefit from an upgrade. Please only serious inquiries. I shipped this out to me in Oregon from Florida for around $1600. It should ship to most locations for under $2000 and I am happy to share some of those costs if applicable. This is priced to sell and it's hard for me to even consider it but I'm in a transition professionally so am open to serious bids.
