Car description |
---|
Up for bidding is an all original 1986 Camry that I purchased from the original elderly owners. 30 years worth of service records, the original window sticker, and factory service manual are all included. I have taken it on a couple road trips and use it as my daily commuter, but have too many cars and I am thinning down my herd. You would be hard-pressed to find another example this clean and original. Everything works, including the air conditioner, cruise control, and rare dealer installed cassette player. Tires are less than a year old, has had recent plugs, oil change, and air filter installed. Really needs nothing, does have a couple small cosmetic blemishes; it is a preowned vehicle that's 30 years old after all. I'm not going to claim that it is a perfect car, but it is a very well maintained and all original car.
The reason for the reconstructed title is this; the car was stolen in 2005. They did not break any windows to get in, but they busted the ignition lock. Their insurance company wanted to total the vehicle-but the original owners did not see the point so they bought it back and had it repaired at a Toyota dealership. But since it had been reported stolen it now has that reconstructed title on it's record. Although it shouldn't hurt the value considering the rarity of something this clean and original.
I can send pictures by request of anything you may want to see on the car. Car is being sold 100% as is, where-is, buyer is responsible for pick up and/or delivery. I use it as my daily driver because of the awesome mileage and a road trip car, and I would not hesitate to drive it anywhere. I am only minutes away from the PDX airport, so you could easily fly in where we could meet and you can drive it home.
Vehicle is also for sale locally; seller reserves the right to end auction early.
