1967 Toyota Landcruiser FJ40

Hello.We have a 1967 Toyota FJ40 up for auction! If you are looking for an excellent winter project...this is it! This little bugger is about as cute as they come. It is all original and unmolested. Has the original 6 cyl. engine that runs excellent. Has the 3 speed transmission. Very rare rear door setup. This used to be a very light green color...was repainted at some time. Frame has surface rust, but very solid. Will need metal work, as it has its share of rust around the bottom rear and will need the drivers floor replaced.

Things we know about the FJ:Center arm repair kit is needed to tighten steering. Tie rod ends are worn. Cooling system is good. Driver side lower floor portion needs replaced. Has the oil bath air cleaner. 4 wheel drive components all work as they should. Driver side front leaf spring is weak...added longer shackles to help. Passenger side floor is solid. Passenger door glass is cracked. Shifts through gears good. Passenger compartment floor needs replaced in front of side seats. Carb is after-market Rochester. Have two original carbs that need rebuilt. Box full of parts also come with it. Brakes are good. Horn is not working at this time. Wheels are original 1967. Exhaust system works but is loose. Emergency brake is hooked up but needs adjusted. Drivers door window doesn't stay closed, but it rolls up. Headlights work on hi and low. Map light works. No tail lights. Dash is complete and original. Has Toyota rear heater unit (hot water) that works good. Rear portion of drivers side rear quarter panel needs repaired. Passenger seat needs reupholstered. Has original jack and handle. Engine runs strong with no smoke. Heater/defrost work good. Has electric fuel pump. Original electric wipers work.
With some work...this little Toyota will be an awesome addition to any collection!
