1970 fj40

This great 1970 FJ40 has been completely rebuilt. Kids and family life prompt me to sell my new toy. This LandCruiser is a machine and has everything needed to have a great adventure. The Jasper Crate TBI Chevy 350 engine still has about one year or 1100 miles left on the warranty. The engine has approximately 900 miles on it. Always trailered to location....trailer is an optional purchase. Here are the particulars: It was purchased approximately six years ago. I took three years to build it and spent the last few years enjoying it...Moab and all over Colorado. The Cruiser is fully licensed and street legal. Has Colorado Collector license plates, and does 65 mph on the highway. Has always passed group run requirements.
The engine is a Jasper crate TBI Chevy 350. It has a 3 core aluminum radiator and long tube headers. Headers are heat tape wrapped. The drive train is a rebuilt turbo 350 with a 205 transfer case (auto 3 speed). It has an ARB Rear Locker. Emergency brake is an electric Line Lock.Wilwood front 4 piston calipers. The rear brakes are K series disc brakes. It has a FordE350 master cylinder, brake booster and manual interior mounted proportioning valve. Bills Englewood in Colorado built the front and rear driveshafts. It has a stretched wheelbase of 109".
The suspension consists of 4" lift springs with Revolver style shackles. FJ60 rear leaf springs were added in addition to stretching the rear axle back to accommodate for the longer chevy drivetrain.MTRS (Kevlar) and Micky Thompson slassic lock 16" wheels x 5 (spare included).
