Car description

The cars runs and drives amazing. Cruise control, power doors, windows, A/C Gas latch and truck latch all work. This car is like a time capsule back to 1984. It's all there and working. This is a survivor car not restored. The Dash, and steering wheel are in like new condition (they have been covered since I'm guessing day one. Cars comes with a NOS factory air filter from the same era. Where else can you find an original survivor car? These are the last of the Celica RWD cars, and first year of the 22RE fuel injected engine. The automatic transmissions were only available in the GT version, so there are far less of this car then the manual versions. This was also a full power car and factory Air conditioning. You should get many more years of use out of everything here. This is what Toyota built the backbone of their reputation of reliability on. This car is also for sale locally, so I reserve the right to end the auction early (until the last 24 hours). If you live in Southern California and would like to come take a look at it, let me know. Or if you would like to send your mechanic to give it a once over, I'm ok with that as well. The stereo has been replaced with a 2 knob style Clarion. If you wanted to revert it back to original form you can do that because the stock radio housing was not modified at all. The passenger side mirror is missing the actual glass mirror part. The power part of that mirror is functional. The driver side mirror has the glass/mirror part, but it does not move the glass with the mirror switch. There are little fingers that attach the platform that holds the mirror to the actual assembly that can break, and I'm sure that's what it is. I hear it moving what it needs to move when I actuate it, just doesn't move the actual reflective part. This is a California Car, undercarriage is rust free. The pictures do not do the paint justice. The car looks probably 95% as good as it did the day it was sold. You can find the driver mirror online, or at car-parts.com and the complete assembly is $100. The passenger lens is on ebay for about $20. If you have any questions or would like to setup to inspect the car feel free to contact me at: 951-492-5934. Joseph.
