1984 Toyota Landcruiser FJ60
198450 on the clock and less than 1500 on complete engine overhaul.
4 Speed 4x4. The truck is in excellent condition.Original Paint. The cruiser is basically all original and has had thousands in replacement parts and upgrades both cosmetically and mechanically over the past 3-4 years. The truck was originally sold in California at Bill Wright Toyota and has made its way through California, Alaska, Washington, and most recently New Hampshire. I spent the past 3-4 years picking at this one piece by piece and can tell you that it is 100% turnkey and ready to be enjoyed for many years to come.I often drive it up to camp for the weekend 175 miles each way no problem. I wouldn't be afraid to get in this truck and drive it back across country. Before I get to the ridiculous list of items that have been replaced lets cover the short list of the bad and what is NOT original.
The "bad"- the driversside left front quarter was creased (see pics) at some point along the way. Though its not bad I want to be upfront in disclosing it. I did not repair this because the paint is all original and didn't want to have a repainted quarter over a minor cosmetic issue. The second thing that will be replaced is the passenger side mirror glass. My wife was adjusting the mirror on our last ride and it cracked. I will have it fixed before pickup.
The "unoriginal"- I put a 2" Old Man Emu lift and obviously the duratrac tires. There are two tan 4WD emblems on either rear quarter. Those are actually from an FJ40. I put them on because when I purchased the truck there was a large antenna ball on that side that was inoperable from what appeared to be a CB radio. I removed the ball and again didn't want to repaint the quarter and found those emblems to cover the mounting holes. I put the adjacent one on just for aesthetic reasons. Aftermarket Head unit. Aussie inclometer. FJ62 mirrors (I have the original mirrors just added these for the look). Tint. Mats.
Work over the past 3-4 years....
Alignment, Tires, Filters, Washer pumps (all of them), Thermostat, Fresh Touch Up paint, Windshield, Front and Rear Heater Cores, Adjusted Valves, Plugs, New Hoses, Rotor & Cap, Plug wires, Fuel Pump, Refurb Carb, Shocks, Resealed Oil Pan, Front Crankshaft seal, LF Hub, Repacked all hubs, Replaced driveshaft U joint, New Rubber Pedal Pads, New Turn Signals Lenses, New TOYOTA grill emblem, Rear Mudguards, Radiator, Complete Engine rebuild,
I have thousands in receipts for this truck to prove everything listed above.Saying what I havein this truck only makes me want tokeep it more.
For serious buyers I can put it on my lift so you can see how clean the underside is. This is a rust free FJ that spends winters in a heated garage.
Thanks
Justin
