1990 Toyota Land Cruiser

This is a very nice FJ62 with relatively low miles and no rust. The truck has beenlovingly owned andmaintained by Land Cruiserenthusiasts throughoutits life, essentially three owners. She has been adult owned, garaged kept and driven lightly over the years...seeing no off road activity. This Land Cruiser has lived the easy life as a second/third vehicle used forweekend drives and grocery getting.

The exterior is in excellent condition with only two small dimples on the rear dropgate. The chrome bumpers, drip rails and moldings are in great condition.The original interior is in excellent condition as well. Original dash is in great shape with no cracks. The upholstery and headliner are clean with no cracks, sags, ripsor tears(except small tear of side vinyl on drivers seat - see photo. This is a common finding with these seats).

The truck rides on stock suspension and factory Toyota chromewheels with31x10.5 Michelin LTX M/S tires.These tires are in good condition and have a lot of treadremaining.

All mechanical and electrical systems are in working order.AC Blows cold. Heat blows hot.Theoriginal 3F-EFI engineand drive train have been well maintained.The engine has verygood power and runs smoothy. 4WD high and low work perfectly. Breaking is predictable and strong. This Land Cruiser is a pleasure to drive. The truck needsnothing to be enjoyed daily. It is a clean, honest FJ62 that runs great.The original booklets, manual, dealer info, bottle jack and complete tool kit are included.

Nov 2016:Tires rotated and balanced. Alignment is good. New radiator, upper and lower hoses, oil and filter--still uses 20W50, shocks ok, replaced wheel cylinder, front pads, rotors and calipers, new fuel filter, tightened valve cover gasgets.

June 2016--coil, ignitor, cap, rotor, wires and plugs replaced.

Oct 2015--master cylinder replaced.

July 2015--replaced rear main engine seal and PVC valve, oil pan and gasket and drive belts.

March 2015--A/C compressor, drier, expansion valve replaced and A/C system evacuated and re-charged.

Original radio/cassette unit is installed but does not work--a replacement comes with the car along with a replacement hi-beam head light.

Windshield is original and has a fair amount of pitting which is a distraction when driving in the sun and should be replaced.

1990 was the final production year for the FJ62 Toyota Land Cruiser. It differs from the earlier 60 series with much better fuel injected 4.0 liter 6-cylinder 3F-EFI engine, automatic transmission, rectangular headlights and power options. It is beloved for it'sclassic, simple esthetic and exceptional off-road capability.
