This truck runs great. Engine was just rebuilt. The bed has hydraulics. It has a dump and scizzor lift. The switches are located in the cab to operate the bed. Has a rollcage. Mud flaps. Everything under the hood is new for the most part. Radiator, plugs, wires, motor mounts, new fan clutch, belts, hoses, clutch assembly, etc. The body has lots of modifications. Shaved door handles, shaved extra-cab windows. Rear tail lights are shaved. Roof had a ragtop in the past, for now I have a piece of plexi glass covering the opening. This truck is a lot of fun. Needs to go to someone that will appreciate a custom truck like this.I started to do a little bodywork on it lately. There are areas on the body that have primer on it. Mechanically speaking it runs strong. The body and paint could use a little work if you want to show it. It is perfectly fine if you just want to take it off-roading, drive it daily as-is, or take mud-bogging/ rock crawling, etc. For me, it has been a work in progress. It was NEVER stored near the ocean, or exposed to salt water. The frame and axles are solid. As it is in its current condition, I get a lot of looks and compliments all the time. I invested around $25k in it years ago considering the work it took to get the bed to have a scizzor lift and a dump. One hydraulic hose needs to be replaced, that only costs a few dollars. I would replace it but simply do not have the time. The bed operates fine right now. It was in many magazines throughout the years. It is paintedwhite now. ItUSE TO BEyellow and orange years ago. I uploaded a picture of what it looked like years ago when it was a show truck. It has 36" Dick Cepek tires.Chrome valve cover. It has Doug Thorly headers. Exhaust sound's great. Very dependable. It was my daily driver. It is registered Non op as I had it in the shop getting the motor rebuilt. The DMV wants $86.00 to register it. I have too many cars and do not need to drive this now, that is why I am keeping it non-op. It passed smog the last time I smogged it. I do drive it daily in my neighborhood on a weekly basis to ensure that it stays running perfectly. This truck can be finished to be a show truck, or you can use it as an offroad truck. It is a ton of fun. It has been in my family for 20 years. Please read my ad and know that I mentioned the body and paint I have been working on, so it is not in show condition. It is a dependable daily driver. I live in southern CA. in La Habra, zip code 90631. This truck would ne a great candidate for off-roading in the mountains, desert, etc. Great year, 1984. Hard to find these anymore. Shipping time depends on how soon you can arrange to pick it up, or have it transported to your address. If you have any questions, please email me through EBAY. Will ship overseas. I do not have any extra time to enjoy this truck. Too many projects. First come, first serve. There is a very cool painting of the truck on the back of the cab sitting on the beach overlooking the ocean. This painting has always gotten a lot of compliments through the years. This truck is truly one of a kind. A lot of work was done on it through the years. I would love to see it go to a good home. It has a nice body lift, gives it a great look. If you live out of state, after your payment clears, please have your transportation company contact me to arrange pick-up. I can communicate with your courier so that your new truck gets to you safe and sound. This truck is turn key. It has a newer battery. The alternator and starter work nicely. It has a kill switch so nobody can try to steal it. Has a Grant steering wheel. Just drove it today, and it Runs great. It has very low miles on new motor. So much fun to drive. 4 speed transmission, and the transmission shifts smoothly. This truck is sold as-is. I just spent a few thousand dollars getting the motor rebuilt, including all of the new parts I mentioned. My brother originally purchased it in 1991. He owned it for ten years, then I took it over. It has been in the family for a very long time. It is well-known on the West Coast. We use to take it to shows every weekend. Buyer pays for shipping. I prefer money order, bank wire, cash, or cashier's check. Funds MUST clear before it leaves my house. Good luck bidders! Send me an email if you have any questions.
