Up for auction is a 1988 toyota landcruiser. it has 154k on the odometer. It is fuel injected and fires right up. It drives straight and remarkably well especially for being a 1988. The transmission shifts as it should and it has a set of Michelin LTX tires on it with maybe 5,000 miles on them. This landcruiser is loaded like no other that I have ever came across. It has an automatic transmission, power windows with driver door auto roll down, power door locks, power mirrors, air conditioning, an older aftermarket alpine cassette player, four wheel drive, power antenna, a throttle knob that's like cruise control, and some other options that I'm sure I am forgetting. The interior on it is in good shape for the year. The door panels and headliner look almost new still and so does the dash which has zero cracks in it. the carpet is presentable and not worn but depending on how picky you are you might want to have it shampooed as there are a couple spots in it here and there but it's hard to get it to show up in a picture as the carpet is a dark color and it really isn't bad. The passenger seat is in exceptional shape. no tears, rips, or stains. The drivers seat does have the fabric starting to come apart at two seams and there is also a small rip in the bottom seat that is approximately an inch and a half long. The back seat has a couple stains on it but nothing a detailer or shampooer can't fix and it has no rips or tears either. The cargo area looks presentable also but it does have some minimal carpet wear from use over the years. The paint has typical wear for the age with some scratches and clear coat peeling but in my opinion it has held up well for being a 26 year old paint job. The body has a ding here and there and the passenger rear quarter panel does have a dent towards the bottom. Both rear fenders have the typical FJ rusting problem by the wheel well but it's not real bad as I live in Arizona and they don't salt the roads here. The rest of the undercarriage and body pinch welds are in pretty good shape. All in all this is a presentable ride that you can drive daily or it would make a great hunting or trail rig. It has had a new mass air flow sensor, distributor, tuneup, and all the fluids in the differentials, transmission, and transfer case changed within the last year. It is not perfect as it is 26 years old and the ac doesn't blow cold, the interior light dimmer knob is missing and the power antenna is broken off (the dimmer still works and radio stations still come in though) so please review the pics and if you want more pics of anything in particular send me a message.
