Car description |
---|
Up for auction is this 76 Celica Fastback. This is car is very complete but will need complete restoration or can be used as a parts car. I have seen this car around the neighborhood for a few years now. The owner never wanted to sell it but finally he decided to move back to New Mexico and could not take the car with him. I purchased the vehicle with intentions of restoring it. Unfortunately, the city came down on me and will not allow me to have vehicles parked on the dirt that is not paved.
I now have to sell it or face a hefty fine for each vehicle parked on the dirt. I drove the vehicle home and ran a little rough. I took off the carburetor and had it rebuilt. I accidentally closed the hood and cannot open it due to the cable being broken. I have no time to fix because the city wants the cars gone by the new year.
The car does need alot of work as you can see. I can also see bad body work on the doors and the passenger side valance. This car is also salvage due to a front end collision. The frame is straight but I do remember the aprons have been fixed and not a good job was done either. I do not see any major rust on the vehicle. It is also on non op.
