Car description

It's the age old story that I have read time and time again from Land Cruiser guys:
my wife is pregnant and I am selling my beloved Cruiser so she can take maternity leave.

It is a 1982 Toyota Land Cruiser BJ42 andI imported this truck from New Zealand ten years ago.
When I got it I repainted her, refurbished and upgraded many components.

Namely, I had the brakes (new springs and cylinders)and axels rebuilt.
I replaced the bearings at the time but should be replaced soon.
Front u-joint should be replaced too.

I got a rebuild master brake booster from SOR (spector off-road)
Ireplaced the vast majority of the rubber, also from SOR
I got new bottom skins for the rear doors. One door is needs love again and the other door is still in great shape.

It has a Toyota 3B Diesel Engine (straight4 cylinder) that was not available in the USA

Four speed transmission
Transfer case: 2H, 4H, N, 4Low
It is a right hand drive vehicle (if you deliver mail this 32+ mpg truck is a dream boat since you get paid per mile)

Another item on the truck that is of significance is the full-floating rear axel. This was not a component available on US models and is a rare stock item regardless of the origin.

Old Man Emu heavy duty rear leaf springs w/ 2.5" lift
(but you can see in one of the pictures that I have blocks to offset the lift and they are a bit clunky;
I was waiting to upgrade the front springs with a 2.5" lift,
which you could door flip the front axel over the springs.)

I put in a Metal Tech Roll Cage with four welded frame tie-ins.
I applied POR-15 anti rust primer to the inside of the tub.

I put heat pads in the driver seats.

Good rubber, plenty of life left.

Unfortunately, there is a leak in the exhaust just down pipe of the manifold
(also the manifold and exhaust manifold gasket have been replaced since I have owned this truck.)

I comes with some odds and ends, as well as some rear-jumper seats.

The truck is being sold as-is, no warranty.
Buyer is responsible for shipping but I can help on my end of things as far as getting it loaded up on the truck.
