1973 Toyota Land Cruiser Base 3.9L

This is a 1973 Native Colorado Land Cruiser

It was first purchased here in Colorado 1973 and then sold in 1976 to the owners that I purchased the truck from in July of 2015

So mostly one owner for 40 years in Colorado

The good

This can easily be used as a daily driver

Most all original

No Diamond Plate

105K miles

Runs and drives superb for a FJ40

Can hold 65 MPH comfortably on the hi-way with no wobble at all and almost no rattles

Original engine runs excellent!

Has all original seats front and rear

Two Heaters work excellent

Original Radio

Original Manual

No cuts into the dash

Interior original headliner in very good condition -Pretty clean and not sagging

All lights interior and exterior work

Even the interior dome light

Original Floor mats and Man A Free sound insulation mat

Original Jack and Handles as well as original tool roll ( I believe it is missing some tools)

Copy of title from 1974

4 BFG Goodrich tires in excellent condition 30x9.5x15 (Great Spare - Same size)

All Fluids are new

5 New Tie Rods included - I replaced two then tore my rotator cuff

Brakes were inspected - New Pads and Drums

GM HEI Distributor - Comes with the original dizzy

Larger Man A Free Gas Tank for increased Range works fine

Wipers Work great

New Air Filter

Rochester Carb (several carbs are included in the sale- cannot say if they work )

Newer Exhaust

New Plugs

Speedo works

Turn Signals work

Radio Works!

Frame and under carriage in very good condition with just signs of surface rust

Horn works

Starts every time

Comes with Man A Free Catalogs from the 1970's

Suspension works as it should with no noises - Its really pretty nice compared to other 40's I have been in - Your wife might actually ride with you!!!

Windows work as they should

4x4 works and engages easily as it should

Hubs lock and unlock as they should -selectro hubs

The top looks to have never been removed - The factory paint is still completely on the bolts - See Pictures

Was Garaged from the 70's

All Original paint with some nice patina

8000 pound winch with remote works perfectly

Comes with quite a few extra parts

Keys all work

Locks work as they should

Comes with 2 new tie rods installed and 3 with the truck - was replacing all of them then tore my rotator cuff so only two were completed

I can get pictures and videos of this running stopping 4x4 engaging whatever you like

The Bad

It has some rust in under the driver and passenger doors

The Sill is rusty and will need attention

Driver Fender has some chipping on the paint

There are scratches here and there

Dash has cracks

Windshield is cracked

Previous owner basically siliconed newer style wiper blades to older wiper arms - Pull the blades off clean it up and put original blades on your set
