I believe the truck to have only had 2 owners. The last ownerhad a automotive repair shop, o when the headgasket blew last yrit was a no brainer to properly fix, o in the last 5k miles the top endof the motor is pretty fresh. Its a nice honest truck thats been a dailydriver and parts getter for us for the last few months. TOTALLY RUSTFREE AZ BODY, aded original Red paint and decals, ORKING A/C, tsjust what you would expect from an older Toyota Truck thats beentaking care of mechanically.Hop in and drive it ! You wont win any car shows, ut its reliable likemost Toyotas and they look great too. This yr and model is alreadyconsidered a modern classic.The transmission noise will be the first thing you notice drivingit, ut again, ts been doing it for a few months and its never leftme stranded.

IF we kept it, was going to put on a set of Nissan 300zx wheels n tireswe have on hand on it, ower it 2" front 3" rear, aybe add a Stillenfront spoiler, agnaflow muffler, etint the windows, edo the frontseats back to stock, dd a carpet it, nstall a Momo steering wheel andput on a dashmat and probably stop there. DRIVETRAIN: as mentioned earlier the motor is the original 22R carbversion 4 cyl motor. Top end has just a few thousand miles on it. It recentlyjust had the following replaced or repaired: head refinished, eadgasket,headbolts, am and followers, iming chain and gears, aterpump, adiatorcleaned out, C vacuumed out and re-charged, lugs, ome hoses andfront brakes. Clutch feels good and works great. PS works well too. Theone thing that stands out the most is the transmission does make noisein 1,2 and 3 gear. Sounds like maybe a bearing. Oddly enough it gets quietwhen I drop it into 4th. Its almost like a rattle and has been doing it forabout 6m now. It runs and drives fine, ut the noise is obvious. I was justgoing to let it die and see how long it would go before replacing it. You canfind a good used 5 spd for it pretty easy, o really fixing it wouldnt takealot of time or money when it comes time to doing it. I figure its a Toyotaand see how long it can go. Rest of the drivetrain feels good and ithas plenty of power for its age.

INTERIOR: looks to be the original black vinyl, hich is in acceptablefor a daily driver. It does need work, ut it all depends on how nice you reallywant it when its done. Really if you redid the front seats and door panels itwould make a big difference. New carpet would be nice too, ut at least theway it is, ou can just drive it and not worry about damaging anything.PS and AC work wel, rans shifts nice and all the glass is in good shape.Even the rear slider back window I believe to be factory, t has the Toyotaname stamped on the glass. Maybe clean it up and use it the way it is ordo some restoration and make the interior as nice as you want. Steeringwheel has alot of wear and tear.

EXTERIOR: so the cars original red paint and vinyl are showing their ageas you can see. But the patina is actually pretty cool and I wouldnt change athing there. Maybe add a roll pan in the back, ut right now there is no rearbumper etc. Tailgate works fine and windows roll up and down, nd door handlesall work. Its a really nice straight body with NO bondo and NO RUST or ROTanywhere. Surface rust at best. The bed shows some wear and tear as you mayexpect for an older truck, ut again, in rust if any. Taillight lenses are new.All the lights work the best we can tell from head to tails as do the blinkers too.

SUSPENSION: basically all stock the best I can tell.Still wearing the factorySteel wheels and rings, hile the tires are in really nice shape too.Rides well and handles like an older truck, ith no weird noise or clunks.Its not restored and may need some bushings etc soon, ut we dont know ofanything it needs right away. Steering feels good and responsive too.Its not restored keep in mind, ts just been kept up for a daily .Spare underneath looks okay too.
